Making it easy for employers to connect with candidates

Business and non-profit recruiters may gain access to student and alumni candidates with ease through the swipe of a card. All they have to do is CLICK HERE for a list of four options. When they click on the option which best meets their needs, they continue through the process. It's simple, easy, and effective.

Your career interests might make you more attractive

Many of our employers target what candidates list as career interests, more than the majors/degrees. For example, students studying Business Administration might have insurance, sales, and marketing as career interests. When the recruiter sees "BSBA," he/she may wish for more specifics. The 'career interests' field allows candidates to provide more specifics.

Networking Tip - Adopt a career mentor

It doesn’t matter how old you are or the stage of your career, having mentors makes a huge difference. Most immediately to you are the alumni and parents in your chapter. When you meet them at Family Weekend or Homecoming, make it a point to engage in meaningful conversations about your career pursuits. Do the same with anyone you meet, whether they’re connections from home, work, campus…wherever. The way I look at it…there’s an opportunity in everyone you meet. All it takes is a sincere conversation and you’ll find it.
