Greek Ladders was founded by three business leaders who share a passion for leadership and career excellence.
Matt is a 1984 initiate of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and a 1986 graduate of the UA Eller School of Business with a major in Marketing. As an undergraduate, Matt served the chapter as Alumni Relations Chair, Little Sister Chair, and Vice President. He worked for the University of Arizona Athletic Department after graduation in the areas of Fund Development and Marketing before founding Fraternity Management Group (FMG) in 1989. FMG focuses on alumni/parent relations, chapter operations, and fundraising for fraternities and sororities nationwide. He serves the Kappa Sigma Educational Foundation of Arizona as Vice President and the Gamma-Rho Chapter Alumni Association/Housing Corporation as the chair of its Alumni Relations committee. Matt serves on several local community boards, including: the Eller School of Management as a Professional Admission Interviewer, GreekCats/Oracle Board Co-Chiar, and HABBJACH/Scholarship America as President. He and wife Risa, a 1988 University of Arizona graduate, live in Oro Valley, and have one son, Austin, who is a student at the University of Arizona.
Matt’s extensive knowledge of Greek Life provides invaluable insight, leadership, and direction for Greek Ladders. His existing connections on college campuses, with national fraternities and sororities, and with business leaders throughout the country serve as a significant benefit to our success. Matt is on the front line of Greek Ladders, providing strong direction.
As a native of North Hollywood, California, Pete has spent his entire career in the non-profit sector. This began during his undergraduate years at the University of Arizona, when he was hired by Fraternity Management Group to help manage capital campaigns at different campuses across the country. Though he graduated from the Race Track Industry Program (studying horse and dog racing), he opted to follow his newly found passion. Serving the non-profit sector for 27-plus years, Pete has impacted hundreds of charitable organizations by providing board development, public awareness, and fundraising solutions. He is Founder and Managing Director of NPcatalyst LLC, which provides philanthropic connections and solutions to businesses and charities throughout the country. Through his company, he is executive director of Pathways to Aviation. He also co-created GiftingWishes.com, an innovative online giving system designed for charities seeking to fulfill wish lists. Pete received the University of Nevada’s Alumnus Advisor of the Year Award at both the 2014 and 2015 Greek Balls. A recipient of the YPN/RGJ Twenty Under 40 Award, Pete was honored as the Most Influential Community Leader of Reno/Tahoe in 2012. What he treasures most is spending time with his wife and children, running and cycling in the Sierra Nevadas, cheering on his Arizona Wildcats, watching horse racing, and actively volunteering.
Pete brings enthusiasm and passion, representing a critical catalyst in driving the success of Greek Ladders. His ability to connect leaders and create solutions will be instrumental in developing programs, linking leaders, and recruiting members. Pete’s deep understanding of young professionals provides key insight into early career development. He is the lead contact and daily driver of Greek Ladders.
