The number of employers in the Nevada unemployment insurance system set another new record reaching 62,500 during the second quarter of 2015.
The previous record was just set in the first quarter of 2015 with 61,900 employers. This is the third consecutive quarter in which the number of employers reached a new all-time high. Relative to the second quarter of 2014, the number of employers in Nevada increased 2,600 or 4.3 percent. This is the fifth straight quarter where year-over-year growth was greater than 4 percent.
